Collaboration between Hezbollah and the Lebanese Army Continues

After about a month and a half, the circle has closed. The incident from December 13, 2025, in the village of Yanouh in southern Lebanon—which already appeared at the time to involve clear coordination between Hezbollah and the Lebanese Army—was definitively confirmed as such on January 21, 2026, with the elimination in the Al-Bazouriya area of Hezbollah’s “liaison officer” (rabat) responsible for the village—Abu Ali Salameh. On December 13, 2025, at the direction of the joint operations room for implementing the ceasefire in Lebanon, the Lebanese Army was sent to a compound serving as a Hezbollah weapons and ammunition storage site in the village of Yanouh, east of Tyre in southern Lebanon. The Hezbollah compound was located only about 45 meters from a school and a soccer field. Upon the Lebanese Army’s arrival at the site, a crowd of “residents” gathered and prevented the Lebanese soldiers from approaching. After the Lebanese Army left, the IDF announced its intention to strike the compound and issued an evacuation warning. The Lebanese Army hurriedly returned to the compound. Surprisingly, this time it was allowed to approach and enter it. After about 24 hours (December 14, 2025), the Lebanese Army announced that it had “conducted a thorough search of the compound and found no weapons or ammunition inside the building, and that it remained in the compound to prevent its attack. On December 13, 2025, the “rabat” Salameh was updated by Hezbollah collaborators within the Lebanese Army that a Lebanese Army force was en route to the weapons depot in the village. The advance update enabled Salameh to organize the gathering—which in fact included Hezbollah operatives—who prevented the Lebanese Army force from approaching and entering the compound. At the same time, during the gathering, Salameh ensured that other Hezbollah operatives evacuated and removed the military equipment from the compound through the back door in boxes. Once the evacuation of the military equipment was complete, Salameh allowed the Lebanese Army to enter the compound and coordinated with the army on documenting the site without the military equipment and on issuing the statement that the compound was empty. Hezbollah has many collaborators at all ranks within the Lebanese Army. This is yet another example among many that the Lebanese Army operates in full coordination with Hezbollah, for Hezbollah.

  1. Dear Alma staff,
This behavior pattern is indicative of the previous symbiotic parasitic death grip that hezbollah continues to hold in Lebanon to consume any hope for the execution of Justice or the restoration of Peace. Lebanon will carry the stench of death, until the corrupted hezbollah cancer is totally removed.
