Naval Mines in Possession of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy

According to a CBS report, US intelligence has begun to see indications Iran is preparing to deploy mines in the Strait of Hormuz. USAF General Dan Caine on 10 March 2026, “U.S [Central Command] continues today to hunt and strike mine-laying vessels in mine storage facilities…This work will continue.” Attached are the confirmed types of naval mines in Iran’s arsenal.
