So far, according to IDF publications, six bridges along the Litani River have been targeted (see video – marked in red). These bridges have been used by Hezbollah as critical routes for the transfer of operatives and weapons, under civilian cover, across the river and into southern Lebanon. On March 23 and 24, 2026, the IDF struck (twice) the Dlafy Bridge, the largest bridge in southern Lebanon. This bridge serves as a central transit axis from the Beqaa Valley to southern Lebanon (the Beqaa Valley constitutes Hezbollah’s strategic depth and a key operational and logistical center of gravity). Earlier, on March 22, 2026, the IDF targeted the Qasmiyeh – Coastal Highway Bridge, located near the village of Al-Qasmiyeh and connecting Sidon to Tyre. As a reminder, on March 18, 2026, the IDF reported the targeting of two additional bridges of significance to Hezbollah: one in the Al-Qasmiyeh area (Qasmiyeh Bridge), also leading to the city of Tyre, and the second located south of the village of Qaaqaaiyet El Jisr (Qaaqaaiyet El Jisr Bridge). Prior to that, on March 13, 2026, a strike was carried out against the Zrariyeh – Tayr Filsay Bridge, followed on March 14 by an additional strike against a road leading to the Khardali Bridge, which connects Marjaayoun and Nabatieh. Additionally, according to local reports that have not been independently verified, an alternative crossing in the Borj Rahhal area was also targeted. In parallel, several additional bridges over the Litani River have not yet been targeted (see video – marked in green) and may serve as alternative routes for Hezbollah to reach southern Lebanon. It is likely that following the strikes carried out so far, Hezbollah will seek alternative routes—albeit less convenient—to transfer its operatives and weapons into southern Lebanon. Among the bridges along the Litani River that have not yet been targeted, at least four appear in the video as potential alternative routes: the wide bridge on Road 51 (M51 Bridge), located closest to the Litani River’s mouth and leading to Tyre; the Taybeh Bridge, situated in the wadi between the village of Yohmor north of the river and Taybeh to the south; the Qlaiaa–Marjaayoun Bridge, located between the Khardali and Dlafy bridges; and the Yohmor Bridge, near the town of Yohmor in the Beqaa District.
