Reconciliation between the locals and the regime forces backed by the radical Shiite axis – Daraa District

Under Russian auspices, the Central Reconciliation Commission in Daraa reached a final agreement with representatives of the Assad regime regarding tensions in the town of Tafas area.

According to the agreement, members of the local militia in the locality will hand over their light and medium weapons, evacuate the official headquarters, and hand them over to the Assad regime. Also, they will be given the choice of whether to leave for northern Syria to Idlib province or stay in Tafas under the terms of the agreement.
