Since the beginning of the ceasefire, Israel has continued to thwart threats in Lebanon and has carried out strikes against Hezbollah operatives involved in the organization’s activities, including infrastructure rehabilitation, renewed operational organization, intelligence gathering, and the transportation and smuggling of weapons.
Based on data we collected from the entry into force of the ceasefire on November 27, 2024, until May 15, 2025—drawing on the IDF Spokesperson’s website and cross-referencing with open sources online—we were able to identify 75 confirmed eliminations of Hezbollah operatives and the locations of their elimination (referring to operatives whose details were published in official statements).
It should be noted that, according to the IDF Spokesperson, as of the end of April 2025, approximately 140 Hezbollah operatives had been eliminated since the ceasefire began. The discrepancy in numbers arises because, in some of the attacks, open sources did not provide clear information regarding the number and identities of the operatives eliminated, and therefore, they were not included in the data analysis.
Key Findings:
The majority of the eliminations (almost 50%) were carried out south of the Litani River.
The number of eliminations north of the Litani and in the Beqaa region together account for approximately 48% (33.3% north of the Litani and 14.7% in the Beqaa).
These data align with the findings regarding the overall number of Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, which show that the majority of the strikes (46.6%) were carried out south of the Litani River, and approximately 53% were conducted north of the Litani River and in the Beqaa region combined.
Most of the operatives who were eliminated belonged to Hezbollah’s geographic units—Aziz, Nasser, and Badr—and were engaged in infrastructure rehabilitation on the ground. This indicates that Hezbollah operatives from the geographic units continue to operate and maintain a presence in southern Lebanon in general, and specifically south of the Litani River.
Additionally, several operatives from the Radwan Force, Unit 4400, and Unit 127 were also eliminated, including several senior figures and commanders.
In March and April 2025, an increase in the number of operative eliminations can be observed: 24 eliminations in March and 17 eliminations in April.
As noted in the article we published in April 2025 analyzing the data on airstrikes in Lebanon, March 2025 saw an increase in the number of airstrikes following two launches from Lebanese territory toward northern Israeli communities. Accordingly, there was also a rise in the number of Hezbollah operatives that were eliminated while engaging in terrorist activity or were present at Hezbollah military sites that were targeted by the IDF.
In conclusion, the above data indicate continued efforts by Hezbollah to rehabilitate and operate in the southern Lebanon area in general, and specifically in the 1701 zone, south of the Litani River.

Greetings to Alma.org from Trevor Barry, NAVAN Co Meath I just been reading some articles here in.
Living here in Ireland we have no enemies surrounding us not yet anyway & we all hope it remains that way
It’s hard to imagine what you all go through living in Israel with so much seemingly devilish hatred towards you all every second of the day. After all you all have been going through & still your hostages they remain trapped in Gaza I would think you it must be unsettling tremendously that the Arab wealthy nations could they seem to be trying to throw curve balls at Trump by throwing money & gifts at America to hoodwink the west into leaving iranns nuke program alone….!
I think having nukes in the wrong hands is a danger to you all & sadly what if trump is going to lose his leverage because of mega investment gifts to america if I was a Jew in Israel I could be thinking safety & very survival is going out the window if those nukes are not neutralised once & for all , all of which will help Prince Pahlavi towards one day becoming the next Shah ot Iran 🙂
Kind regards Trevorr
