Daily Report – Main Occurrences (June 20)

The Israeli Front

Day Eight of the War – In the past 24 hours, two barrages were launched toward northern Israel, with approximately 15 missiles successfully intercepted. In the morning hours, a missile launched from Iran that was not intercepted struck a residential neighborhood in Be’er Sheva. Significant damage was caused to buildings, and five people were lightly injured. During the night, the Israeli Air Force intercepted four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran. In the afternoon, another barrage of 25 missiles was launched across the country, with several impacts causing damage and casualties. According to the Tax Authority’s Compensation Fund, over 30,000 damage claims have been filed so far.

Strikes in Iran

A series of strikes took place last night in the heart of Tehran: dozens of targets were hit, including military industrial sites for missile production and the SPND headquarters — the organization responsible for research and development of Iran’s nuclear weapons program. Among the targeted sites were facilities for producing missile components and raw materials used in casting missile engines. Additionally, a facility manufacturing a key component essential to the Iranian regime’s nuclear weapons program was attacked.

The Israeli Air Force is conducting a hunting campaign against missile launchers, striking many of them and their operating crews in real time — just moments before missiles are launched toward Israel. Many of the launchers in Iran’s arsenal, particularly in western Iran, have already been hit. The launcher-hunting campaign is ongoing.

The Israeli effort to intercept UAVs continues across all fronts. The video is from southern Syria, Daraa Governorate.

The indoctrination of hatred toward Israel and the U.S. continues in Iran. In the video, civilians can be seen stepping on the flags of Israel and the United States today (June 20) in Tehran.

Elimination

Since yesterday, two nuclear scientists have been eliminated in targeted strikes.

One of the strikes took place in the Gisha neighborhood of Tehran.

Lebanon

The IDF continues to thwart threats and terrorist activity in southern Lebanon. This morning, a vehicle was targeted on the road between Al-Abbasiya and Tyre in southern Lebanon. Muhammad Khadr al-Husseini, the commander of the firepower array in the Litani sector of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, was eliminated. Later in the day, another vehicle was targeted in the village of Al-Habbariya.

Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem declared yesterday:
“Iran has the right to defend itself, and the peoples of the region have the right to stand alongside the great leader and the people of Iran in the same trench. We stand with Iran in its confrontation with global oppression, because we support our independence, the liberation of our land, and the freedom of our decisions and choices.”

“We are not neutral, and therefore we express our position in support of Iran, its leadership, and its people, and we will act as we see fit in response to Israeli-American aggression. Our unity is the path to thwart the project of hegemony, and it is what will contribute to the failure of the goals of the aggression. Israel’s helplessness, shown by its request for American support, does not absolve us of the responsibility to stand by Iran and support it in every way that contributes to ending tyranny.”

The main headline of the Al-Akhbar newspaper (Hezbollah’s mouthpiece) on June 20 quotes Naim Qassem, who said, “We are not neutral,” and declares: “Fire under fire.”

At this stage, it is unclear whether Hezbollah will join the fighting and when, and the extent of the gap between the militant rhetoric and actual actions remains uncertain.

Iraq

Abu Ali al-Askari, the security chief of the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades militia, issued a statement yesterday in which he declared:
“We emphasize, even more clearly, that if the United States enters the war, then the fool Trump will lose all the trillions he dreams of gaining from the region, and an action plan has already been prepared for that. Without a doubt, American bases in the region will become like duck hunting grounds. The Straits of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandeb will be blocked, all oil ports in the Red Sea will cease operations, and needless to say, there will be surprises awaiting aircraft in the skies. ‘For this, the toilers will toil.
