Daily Report – Main Occurrences (June 23)

The Israeli Front

Day 11 of the War – During the night, one missile was launched toward Israel and was successfully intercepted. In the morning hours, approximately 15 missiles were fired in five barrages toward several areas across the country. Reports indicate damage to buildings. A strike near a strategic Israel Electric Corporation facility in the south caused disruptions in the regional power supply. Today was marked by a high frequency of small-scale missile barrages. Approximately 10,000 people have been left homeless as a result of damage to residential buildings caused by missile strikes.

Strikes in Iran

Yesterday evening (June 22), the Israeli Air Force carried out simultaneous strikes in four regions targeting missile sites and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Isfahan, Bushehr, Ahvaz, and for the first time, in the Yazd area (located 2,200 km away).

As part of this wave of attacks, fighter jets targeted for the first time the “Imam Hossein” strategic missile headquarters in the Yazd region, where long-range Khorramshahr missiles were stored. Approximately 60 missiles had been launched from this headquarters toward the State of Israel.

The IDF struck six airports belonging to the Iranian regime in western, eastern, and central Iran. The strikes targeted and damaged runways, underground hangars, a refueling aircraft, and F-14, F-5, and AH-1 aircraft belonging to the Iranian regime.

In the early afternoon, a very large wave of strikes was carried out in Tehran targeting military objectives, with over 100 munitions used within two hours. The strikes hit command centers and assets of Iran’s Internal Security Forces and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Tehran.

As part of the attack, the headquarters of the Basij was targeted. This is one of the IRGC’s key bases of power and is responsible, among other things, for enforcing Islamic codes and reporting citizens who violate them to the authorities.

Additionally, the Alborz Corps, which is tasked with defending several cities in Tehran Province against various threats and maintaining regime stability, was targeted. The Intelligence and General Security Police of the Internal Security Forces—also part of the regime’s military apparatus—were struck as well.

The entrance to Evin Prison, the largest detention facility for regime opponents and political prisoners in Iran, was also attacked.

Access routes to the Fordow enrichment facility were struck.

It was also reported that the Israel Destruction countdown clock located in Palestine Square in Tehran and set to 2040—the year Supreme Leader Khamenei predicted the fall of the Zionist regime—was also targeted.

A second Israeli UAV of the Hermes type was shot down earlier today in Iran.
