Hezbollah is also working to restore its civilian infrastructure among its supportive Shiite base, while at the same time it is rehabilitating its military infrastructure. While operating in the Al-Khiam area, IDF forces encountered armed Hezbollah terrorists. After eliminating them, they found a tunnel shaft inside a church containing Hezbollah weaponry.

Yesterday (December 1), IDF forces identified armed Hezbollah terrorists operating near a local church in the Al-Khiam area, known to be used by Hezbollah. After eliminating the terrorists, the forces found a tunnel shaft containing weaponry. This is another proof of how Hezbollah is using civilian and religious sites as shields for its activities.

The IDF targeted several vehicles that were operating near a Hezbollah missile manufacturing site in the Beqaa, as well as infrastructure near the Syria-Lebanon border used to smuggle weapons to the Hermel area. Additionally, the IDF conducted several strikes, eliminating Hezbollah terrorists in south Lebanon.

This morning, the IDF Spokesperson in Arabic issued another warning, detailing a list of specific villages in southern Lebanon,  where civilians are prohibited from entering.

This morning (December 2) Lebanese Parliament Speaker and head of the Amal Movement, Nabih Berri, accused Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement and mentioned that discussions have been ongoing with the relevant international bodies. He also expressed hope that the renewal of the ceasefire monitoring committee’s meetings would lead to an end to these violations once France joins the committee.

In the past few days and in the coming weeks, Hezbollah will organize gatherings and funerals for its members that were killed in the war. Some terrorists who were buried outside of their hometowns will be transferred for burial in their villages. Hezbollah is also resuming its efforts to restore civilian infrastructure, mainly in Shiite areas.
