The Al-Ghader Missile Command (AGMC) responsible for operating Iran’s missile array is known as the main headquarters of the Missile Command. It is located at the central command base of the IRGC Aerospace Force, at the Dastvareh base, northwest of Tehran. The operational array of the Missile Command consists of 5 main units – the Raad 5th Missile battalion, the Al-Hadid 7th Missile battalion, the Qaam 16th Missile battalion, the Zulfiqar 19th Missile battalion, and the Al-Towhid 23rd Missile battalion. These units, deployed at bases across Iran, are responsible for the storage, operation, and maintenance of the ballistic missile array, which, as we have already reported, includes 29 different missile types with ranges from 200 kilometers up to approximately 3,000 kilometers. The missile array is part of the five arrays of the IRGC Aerospace Force, which also include the space program, the air defense array, the aircraft and helicopter array, and the UAV array. According to numerous reports, infrastructure, sites, and bases of the IRGC Aerospace Force have been under concentrated offensive effort by Israel since the beginning of the war against Iran.
