Houthi attacks against Israel began on October 19, 2023. By December 19, 2024, the Houthis have launched 61 attacks against Israel, using ballistic missiles and UAVs (represented by the gray column).
At the same period of time, the Houthis carried out 238 attacks against shipping in the Red Sea area, using missiles, UAVs, and explosive boats (represented by the blue column).

The first direct Israeli strike against the Houthis was carried out on July 20, 2024. For approximately a month and a half following this strike, the Houthis did not conduct any direct attacks against Israel.
After the second Israeli strike against the Houthis (September 29) and with the beginning of the ground maneuver in Lebanon (October 1), there was an increase in direct Houthi attacks against Israel. This upward trend peaked during December 2024 (which is not yet over), with 12 attacks against Israel carried out so far. The latest Houthi attack against Israel was launched last night (December 19) using a ballistic missile, shortly before the third Israeli strike against them. As a result of the missile interception, significant damage was caused to a school in the Tel Aviv area (photo attached). This month has seen the highest number of direct attacks against Israel since October 2023.
