Key Points
Repeated violations by Hezbollah terrorists marked the first weekend of the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah. Hezbollah is encouraging the population of southern Lebanon to return to their homes, even to areas restricted by the IDF, while working to reinforce the victory narrative among its supporters. Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army ignores Hezbollah’s violations and blames Israel for breaching the ceasefire agreement. Attacks on Israel from Iraq and Yemen by pro-Iranian militias continue. An article reviewing the events in Syria will be published separately.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, which since November 2, 2023, has taken responsibility for 316 attacks against Israel, typically issues a claim of responsibility immediately following an attack. This was the third UAV attack from Iraq in the past week where no organization claimed responsibility.
