During the past week, Hezbollah carried out 161 attack waves against Israel and against IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon. Out of the total weekly attacks: •121 attacks targeted IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon. •40 attacks targeted Israeli territory, primarily border-adjacent communities and towns. This week saw a continued increase in attacks directed at Israeli territory, particularly against northern communities near the border. Most of the attacks against Israel were carried out using explosive drones. During the week, three IDF soldiers were killed as a result of Hezbollah explosive drone attacks. Drones have become the organization’s primary means of warfare during the current period. Breakdown by weapon type during the week: •105 attacks using drones (primarily) and UAVs •47 attacks using rockets and missiles •In addition, a limited number of attacks were carried out using anti-tank missiles, anti-aircraft fire, small arms, and other means. Since the beginning of the “ceasefire” (April 17) and through May 24, 2026, Hezbollah has carried out 545 attack waves. Of these: •437 attacks (80.2%) targeted IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon. •108 attacks (19.8%) targeted Israeli territory (97 using drones and UAVs, and 11 using indirect fire weapons). Since the beginning of the period, 10 IDF soldiers and one civilian have been killed.
