Daily Update, October 6, 2024 – 14:30 – Northern Arena

  • In the last 24 hours, 28 attacks were carried out against northern Israel, with Hezbollah claiming responsibility for 12 of those attacks.
  • Hezbollah carried out rocket and missile attacks towards the cities of Haifa, the Krayot area, Karmiel, Safed, Sakhnin, Katzrin, and the Hadera area.
  • Yesterday (October 5), the IDF conducted targeted strikes against command centers and terrorist infrastructure of Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters in Beirut.
  • Yesterday, the IDF uncovered and destroyed a 250-meter underground complex in southern Lebanon. This complex had command centers, terrorist combat packs, and a large number of weapons designated to be used in an invasion by Hezbollah’s Radwan Force into Israel. They also found living quarters equipped with showers, a kitchen, and stockpiles of food. This infrastructure is located about 300 meters from the border.   • This morning (October 6), Hezbollah launched two surface-to-surface missiles toward the Hadera area (about 80 km from the Lebanese border). The missiles were intercepted, and there were no casualties.
  • Hezbollah fired several rockets toward the city of Karmiel.
  • Three UAVs launched from Iraq on their way to Israeli territory were intercepted. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for the attacks.
  • During the night, the IDF carried out several targeted strikes in Beirut, attacking weapons depots and additional terrorist infrastructure.
  • A company commander in Hezbollah’s Kfar Kila area, responsible for hundreds of anti-tank missiles and high trajectory fired towards the Upper Galilee and Metula in particular, was eliminated.
