Hezbollah’s weapons arsenal was not lightly damaged. However, Hezbollah still has an arsenal that allows it to continue to launch continuous missiles, rockets, and UAVs toward Israeli territory for a long time. Some using large volleys of dozens of weapons at the same time.
The rehabilitation of Hezbollah in terms of the weapons arsenal depends on the Iranian weapons corridor (which includes the CERS infrastructure in Syria) and depends on Hezbollah’s self-production and assembly capacity on Lebanese soil. The production and assembly capacity are not absolute and are limited. The arsenal of weapons mentioned under this capability is also smuggled to Hezbollah through the Iranian corridor.
Recommendations:
- Efforts must continue to be concentrated on attacking the sites and workshops for the production and assembly of weapons throughout Lebanon, including in Dahieh.
- The CERS sites in Syria should be attacked systematically and the development and production capabilities there should be destroyed.
- A continuous effort to block the corridor on all its routes (land, air, and sea) and damage their entry gates to Syria and Lebanon must be continued.
- The effort to eliminate centers of knowledge and power buildup must be continued both in the Quds Force (emphasis on Unit 340, which is responsible for the research and development of the proxy’s independent production capabilities) and in Hezbollah (emphasis on the Directorate of Weapons Production and Unit 4400).
