During the past week, the upward trend in Hezbollah’s attacks against Israel and against IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon continued. Over the course of the week alone, Hezbollah carried out 31 attacks against northern Israeli communities. Most of the attacks targeted border-adjacent communities, reflecting a significant increase in attacks directed at Israeli territory. In addition, this week saw an unusual attack targeting the Lower Galilee area, located dozens of kilometres from the Lebanese border, involving the launch of a single rocket. Aside from this incident, all attacks directed at Israel targeted border communities. Furthermore, during the past week Hezbollah carried out 134 attacks against IDF forces operating against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. Of these, 76 attacks were conducted using UAVs and drones. Of the 30 attacks carried out this week against northern Israeli communities, 27 were conducted using UAVs and drones. During the week, two IDF soldiers were killed as a result of explosive drone attacks. Since the beginning of the “ceasefire,” 7 IDF soldiers and one civilian have been killed. Hezbollah has carried out 384 attack waves, with a consistent increase evident both in the tempo of operations and in the use of UAVs and drones. Most of the attacks — 316 attacks (82.3%) — were directed against IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon, while 68 attacks (17.7%) targeted Israeli territory. Breakdown by weapon type: 244 attacks using UAVs and drones 96 attacks using rockets and missiles In addition, isolated attacks were carried out using anti-tank missiles, explosive devices, anti-aircraft fire, and small arms.
